The Focke-Wulf "Triebflugel" was one of the strangest designs for a vertical take off and landing interceptor to come out of World War II Germany. Although it was never built, a wind tunnel model was tested up to a speed of Mach 0.9 It would have been powered by three wingtip mounted ramjets. VTOL and B-24 bombers modeled and rendered in Lightwave 3D, version 8.5.

It's great when there's more than just whimsy inspiring talent. This work is pretty awesome. I have to give it 5 stars.
