Modeled and rendered in 3DMax 2011, with Mental Ray and Final Gather. The winner of 1952 F1 Championship. The first Ferrari to win an race car. It was in 1947. Modeled in Max 2010 SP1 and rendered in Mental Ray. pos-production in Photoshop CS3. I tried to evoke some XMen and Batman like scenes... Comments are always welcome... regards... 3 weeks to model and 3 days to shader, light and render. Modeled with 3D Max 2012 SP2, rendered with Mental Ray and color corrected with Photoshop. I like the window glasses effect in the medieval buildings. For lighting I just put the hdri (jpg) map in the skylight slot map. I put the same hdri map in the Environment/Background Switcher[mi] and used the shader Matte/Shadow/Reflection in the plane under the car to receive the right shadows. For the renderings I used 3D Max 2009 64bit and Mental Ray with Final Gather. 3DMAx 2009. HDRI. I've been working on it since last sunday. I modeled the concept car in 3DMax 2011 SP1 and rendered in Mental Ray. I used HDRI and Backplates from Hi, I've made this car by the requests of an advertising agency here in Rio de Janeiro. They need it completed in less than 3 days... I've done this one in a little more than a week. So I decided to do it by myself...the color scheme of the car is a tribute to my soccer team, Flamengo who can be the Brasilian soccer champion 2009 this week end.... Hope you enjoy it and the comments are always welcome. I tried to capture the light during the summer. I've done some of classical and vintage cars before, so I decided to do a completely different theme and choose a dream car - a design from the near future. After doing a lot of research I opted to modify a Lexus concept car. This car was part of an advertising project called Ferrari_Shell 60 years of partnership. 3 more different cars were done for this job, they were modeled in 3D Max 2008 and rendered in Mental ray.
